Master Chen Lisheng (陈理圣), also known as Chen Lisheng(陈理胜), is the founder of the Wudang Taoist Wuji GongFu Academy and is referred to by his Taoist name Lingxuzi (灵虚子). He is a 15th generation descendant of the Wudang Xuanwu Sect and has earned a postgraduate degree from the China Taoist Academy.
In 1997, he went to Wudang Mountain to study martial arts and Taoist under Grand Master You Xuande, a member of the Wudang xuan wu sect learn martial arts.
He has dedicated himself to the long-term study of Wudang Kung Fu, Taoist culture, and health preservation techniques.
Master Chen has developed a diverse array of practices, including the Wudang Taoist breathing technique, the guidance technique, the Zhang Sanfeng sleeping technique, and the Wudang inner alchemy cultivation method.
He demonstrates proficiency in various martial arts disciplines, such as the Meditation,Wuji Stand Meditation, Tai Chi Dan Gong, Tai Chi Xing Gong, Zhang Sanfeng Sleep Gong, and multiple forms of Wudang Tai Chi (specifically the 9, 13, 18, 36, and 64 forms).
Addationally, Master Chen possesses expertise in the Wudang Dan Sword, the Wudang Secret Taiyi Xiaoyao Palm, the Wudang Secret Five Elements Health Preservation Gong, as well as Xingyi Quan, Bagua Palm, Taiyi Five Elements Quan, and other traditional martial arts associated with the Wudang Xuanwu Sect.

During the winter of 1999, the Chinese Taoist Academy visited Wudang Mountain to choose two exceptional Taoist priests, and Master Chen distinguished himself among over twenty young priests.

From March 2000 to January 2003, He continued the education at the China Taoist Academy in Beijing. Over the course of two years of focused study and research, thoroughly explored Taoist cultural classics, including the Tao Te Ching, the Book of Changes, the Zhong Lv Missionary Collection, the Wu Zhen Chapter, the Complete Works of Zhang Sanfeng, and the Daozang series, which greatly enhanced the understanding of Taoist. During the free time,Also taught Wudang Tai Chi, Wudang Sword, and health preservation techniques in Beijing, earning high praise from students of China and overseas coutries.

Following January 2003, Master Chen Lisheng returned to Wudang Mountain, where he assumed the role of deacon at Zixiao Palace.was subsequently appointed as the assistant to the president by Master Li Guangfu, who held the position of president of the Wudang Mountain Taoist Association at that time.
During the tenure at the Wudang Mountain Taoist Association, my primary responsibilities included managing significant receptions, facilitating external communications and promotional activities, overseeing internal management affairs, and attending to various related tasks.


Simultaneously, Master Chen co-founded the magazine Wudang Taoist in collaboration with leaders from the Religious Affairs Bureau. Also established the website for the Wudang Taoist Association and took on the role of editor and publisher for various significant texts on Taoist philosophy and cultivation, including the Tao Te Ching, the Missions Collection by Zhong Lv, the Essence of Wudang Taoist Cultivation, and Supreme Sensation.
Master Chen proposed a pedagogical framework centered on the concept of "utilizing martial arts to embody the Tao and the dual cultivation of life and spirit," which underscores the synthesis of internal cultivation and Taoist philosophy. This framework incorporates theories such as the "Five Arches" within the infinite pile technique and outlines a systematic approach to foundational training over a period of 100 days, followed by a three-year regimen for refining qi.
In 2006, Recognition of his contributions, he was awarded the title of "Advanced Taoist" .

During free time, Master Chen Lisheng continues to practice martial arts and Taoist, while also instructing students both domestically and internationally in the health and cultivation techniques of the Wudang Sect.
September 2008, the China Taoist Academy launched a graduate program with the endorsement of the State Administration for Religious Affairs, selecting 13 exceptional individuals from the Taoist community nationwide to further their education. Master Chen was among those chosen due to his extensive knowledge gained over the years.
From September 2008 to July 2011, Master cheng entered China Taoist Academy again for further studies.
During the three years of studying in Beijing, in addition to learning professional knowledge, also used my spare time to visit folk martial arts masters, improve my martial arts skills, and opened 7 Wudang Tai Chi training classes and 2 Wudang Taoist health training classes.
Welcomed or invited by followers of Baiyun Temple, Beijing Financial Street, National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Tsinghua University, China Construction Bank and other individuals and organizations, the seeds of Wudang Tai Chi have once again been sown in Beijing. Many participating learners benefit from it.
Master Chen excavated and organized the health preservation techniques of the Wudang Sect. His graduation thesis "Research on the Five Elements Health Preservation Techniques of Wudang Taoist" received praise from experts and industry insiders.
After 2010, the winter and summer vacations, Master Chen was invited multiple times to France, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Italy, the United States, Singapore and other countries to teach Taoist and Wudang health preservation techniques. His main courses, such as "Taoist Philosophy and Health Preservation Practice," "The Tao Te Ching and Health Preservation Practice," "Main Taoist Classics and Health Preservation Practice," and "Wudang Tai Chi and Urban People's Cultivation," were particularly popular.

In order to better spread Wudang culture and Wudang Kung Fu, and to enable more people at home and abroad to understand and benefit from them.
From 2012 to 2019, after graduating from the China Taoist Academy, Master Chen returned to Wudang Mountain Taoist and, according to leadership arrangements, taught at the Wudang Mountain Taoist Academy, imparting Wudang martial arts and Taoist cultivation methods through both internal and external training.

During the teaching period at Wudang Mountain Taoist Academy, Master Chen Lisheng hoped to continue researching and personally practicing the martial arts cultivation system inherited from Wudang Sect.
Therefore, he made a vow to dedicate his knowledge to society and the people, hoping to drive the learning and participation of some young people through his personal practice, and better inherit and develop this excellent intangible cultural heritage of our country.
In April 2012, Master Chen established the Wudang Lisheng Health Culture Communication Center.
In 2015, the Wudang Mountain Taoist Wuji GongFu Academy was founded, located at the Qiongtai Hotel of the Cableway in the Qiongtai Scenic Area of Wudang Mountain. Master Chen Lisheng obtained the social vocational qualification certificate for martial arts and health education in 2016 based on his comprehensive literacy.

In 2016, After founded Wudang Taoist Wuji Gongfu Academy, with the core concept of "cultivating both civil and martial arts, and nurturing both inside and outside", he began offering long and short-term courses as well as winter/summer camps, and began recruiting students from home and abroad.
In 2017, invited by the municipal government, Master chen participated in CCTV12 "Charm City PK" program to showcase the infinite charm of the city of Shiyan. In the end, Shiyan successfully advanced with a high number of votes.

Master Chen was hired as a visiting professor at Wudang Mountain International Martial Arts Academy in July 2020.

As a practitioner of Taoist culture, Master Chen has been committed to the standardized inheritance and international promotion of Wudang Kung Fu for a long time.
Its overseas coverage mainly includes more than 60 countries and regions such as England, France, Germany, the United States, and Australia, and has conducted systematic teaching in more than ten provinces including Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangdong in China. As so far, Around trained over than 10000 students both domestically and internationally, making significant contributions to the global dissemination of Wudang martial arts.
International influence:
Serving as the head coach of the British Daoquan Martial Arts Academy and the French Spanish Joint Health Academy, promoting the introduction of Wudang Tai Chi Sword, Baguazhang and other martial arts into European campuses, and sharing experiences in youth Tai Chi education at the 3rd European Tai Chi Culture Forum, showcasing innovative practices in cultural inheritance.
